Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Tel Aviv to the Hamuchraka vista point, perched high on Mount Carmel. This serene lookout offers a sweeping panoramic view of the Jezreel Valley and surrounding hills. It's also home to a Carmelite monastery, steeped in biblical tradition as the site where the prophet Elijah is believed to have confronted the prophets of Baal.
Next, immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the Druze community in Daliyat al-Karmel. Walk through the vibrant village, engage in conversations with local residents, and gain insight into Druze history, values, and customs. Enjoy a warm and authentic Druze lunch, prepared with love and centuries-old flavors.
In the afternoon, experience something truly unique with a visit to the House of Colors – the living artwork of Druze artist Sam Halaby. What was once a family home has been transformed into an explosion of color, creativity, and self-expression.…
